Comr. Iyanda to Moro Youth
The Future Of Moro And The Roles Of Youths
By Comr. Jimoh Abdulquadir Iyanda
The problem with Nigeria as a country is that many of our Youths are not visionary and they becomes liabilities to the Government and as a result of this, our society is now overwhelmed with miserable problems ranging from kidnapping, terrorism, vandalism, theft and host of others.
With the prevailing level of corruption in our public offices across the country and the high level of penetration of this so called antisocial way of life in our society, one will agreed with me that, eradication of corruption in Nigeria is a dangerous enterprises. And that is more reason why, it is very advisable for individual not to wait for any government, because you might started waiting the rest of your life.
Taking responsibility for yourself as a Youth and do what you know how to do better are the only solutions to the prevailing level of unemployment and curbs menace of social vices in Nigeria.
Nevertheless, this is the 21st century, the rate at which human knowledge in transforming naturally endowed resources into the human wants cannot be underestimated. But due to the part of the world we have found ourselves, our reasoning is stunted to growth and we are totally dependents on the imported materials and based on that reason, we can't do without them as at 21st century.
"The future of the world is belongs to the educated races" as we can all see, the manner at which we educates ourselves in Nigeria cannot be compared to many advanced countries of the world. That is why, our orientation needs to be adequately change and embrace what is rightful to progress and balance with other notable countries of the world.
However, if truly Moro want to progress and move out from the hands of tyrannical rules in Kwara, there's a lot of responsibilities required from the parents and the so called Youths. Education has played one key important role in the development of Africa from the whites and the liberation of black race from the hands of colonial rules, education is the cardinals behind all this achievements. Putting more value in Education is very paramount to the progress and prosperity of Moro as a local government.
Furthermore, Youth has more than 50% of our population and it is only these Youth that can rescue the drowning ship in Nigeria. Youths are bless with many privileges and qualities, and everyone of us have the same qualities at our younger or youthful age. It is very pertinent to know that, the young people are motivated to be successful in their lives, faced with less complicated problems, and have more opportunities to become who they want to be than when they are older.
Some of the qualities and privilege includes:
* Powerful reasoning habits at youthful age,
* Healthy: Ability to take more work done within a shortest period of time,
* Responsibility: based on psychology view, struggling for independence from parental controls is very high at this age,
* Vision: Many of world Billionaires have the same determination from their youthful age to be rich and they be.
The teenage age is the best stage of life to live and succeed, because of lots of opportunities there for youth to explore.
Arguably, when you are young, you have more time to do some valuable things and reach the apex, compare to the elderly ones who are now occupied with many enterprises. We must take advantage of being Youths and bring progress to the Local Government (Moro).
More so, it is very advisable once again to see beyond our noses and attract more value to the local government, so that, we can have future we have been yawning and craving for. That is when we can be rest assured that, our own generation and the generation to come will be totally free from the hands of hypocrites, callous, and avaricious that is endangering our future and still take pride for it.
It's left for us to educate ourselves or remain unskilled with ignorance, poverty, and diseases. The expectation for better future lies in the hands of our future leaders (Youths) with clear mind to liberate and transform this local government (Moro) for better by eschewing selfish interest, laziness, nepotism, greediness and other unethical behaviors or attitudes that can hinder our mission to be successful or prosper. One of the syndrome that has affected most of the zones, province, and some Nations in Africa is selfish interest on the detriment of collective interest of their zone or province. The progress and success of a province, zone or Nation is totally lies in the hands of like-minded individuals from the aforementioned area.
Note: For all patriotic and clear minded Moro citizens are expected to know that; the so called challenges we are facing today supposed to build us and prepared us adequately for our better future, the challenges is not there to destroy us.
The struggles for the liberation of Moro from the hands of avaricious started sometimes around early 1900 and we are still taking pride for the audacity and boldness of some patriotic Moro who tackled the oppressors vigorously for our better future. Liberation of Moro as a local government needs commitment of dedicated like-minded youths and elderly ones to lead them alright.
It is a well known fact that, success doesn't come a day, it requires perseverance, consistency, hard-working, sacrifices, money, and sometimes blood.
Moro Youth should wake up from their slumber, complaining day in-day out as one of the Nigerian Youths attitudes cannot solve our problems rather than taking responsibility for our better life and change all world around us.
Finally, we should be ready to recreate ourselves and avoid all those moronic-blunder attitudes the society is trying to foist on us.
God bless Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State,
God bless Kwara State of Nigeria, and
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
