NEGLIGENCE AS THE IMPLICATION FOR MORO UNDERDEVELOPMENT


Development of any community or town is a gradual process which will eventually becomes a metropolis or city over time, but hardship, poverty, ignorance and discouragement has eaten deep into the flesh of our citizens contributing more hazardous to the development of Moro.

The problem of identity which confronting the Local Government from the inception is one of the great problem that have been left to us to handle ourselves which can never be effectively handled without the support of our sisters local government in Kwara north. Moro Local Government is like a motherless child that needs help, support and assistance of many other parents to get food, shelter, quality education and as well as having sense of belonging of the membership of the society in which he belongs to. 

Moro Local Government of ours, is a Local Government in Kwara State which have nobility among other local government in Kwara since it creation in 1976, because of our commitments to contributes more effectively to the better future of Moro. It is a well known fact that, injury to one is injuries to all. From inception, we are always Progressive in our dealings, which had been having a very good impact on the lives of our people including the leaders. That is the more reason why our contributions to the revolutionary change of Government "O to ge revolution" in Kwara State cannot be underrated. It is a blessing to us that our determination for Change work out for better as Kwara State was eventually revolutionized in 2019 general election. 

However, Moro LGA with the advent of University in Malete around 2009 have been witnessing a lot of problems ranging from indecency among students which equally corrupt our Youths including the elderly ones of the community (Malete) and host of other social vices, bad roads, poor supply of electricity and lack of proper maintenance as well, poor water supply and host of other disturbing abandoned projects in that community. 

One popular proverb says: silent is a crime in an unjust environment. The problem of electricity supply, lack of equipped dispensary and as well as portable water access in our communities nowadays has pose threats to the life of citizens and the inhabitants. 

We are calling on the Authority concerns to come to our aid, in order to reduce this hardship to the barest minimum so that both citizens, merchants and the inhabitants can be living in peace and orderliness. Welfarism of the citizens should be given priority as we are practicing democracy which give rooms for us to choose for ourselves preferable candidates who will represent us at all levels of our Government. 

Our citizens have already exercise their own constitutional rights to vote for the preferable candidates who are now our Representatives at different levels of our Government. It is in our believe that, you will deliver to the best taste of mankind. 

A scholar once said that, "a reasonable leader always plan from the beginning to the end", and that is the more reason why we must all do what necessary for the citizens at expected time. Campaign after election will never help at the end, our advocates is for the dividends of democracy before it is too late, not that, it will be only during election we will be witnessing propaganda upon propaganda, it will never help the situation ever again. 

Finally, "the future of the world belongs to the educated race", the important of education to the independence of Nigeria as a country cannot be underscore and as well as African race as a whole. 

Moro citizens need quality education which is one of our rights to ask. Scholarship, Educational grants and other necessary benefits towards quality education is lacking and we are totally immersed in ignorance. 
Moro citizens deserves quality education! 

We are very optimistic for prompt action of our reliable Representatives in Kwara north senatorial district who have been always determined to bring more sustainable developments to the district and it environ for the betterment of the populace.
