WHAT RAMADAN HAS COME TO INSTILL IN US IS BEYOND SALAT

But there's no substitutes for SALAT.

Both Christian and Muslim shared some religious doctrine together which pay more emphasis on unity, peace, love, generosity, kindness and faithfulness.

The process of been a faithful and a devoted religious persons has masked other important aspect of our religious life.

Many of us today in this part of the world are so religious, but we're not Godly for a single minute of life. Let us digress a little bit to our political life in Nigeria. Most of our leaders today are Pastors and Alfas who possess in-depth knowledge about what Qur'an and Bible has come to teach. Some even study Comparative Religious Studies, but adding no value to the system of our Government. We also have plenty of Mosques and Churches across the country, but the crime rates is increasing day-in day-out for God's sake.

It is high time, we need to take redress, and follow the normal doctrine of our religious ideology to pave way for peace, unity, love and so on as a better way to restore normalcy to our country as we hope for a better future.

Ramadan has come to instill in us peace, kindness, generosity, love, unity and et cetera as a way to live normal life and impact positively in our immediate and larger society.

In view of this, I congratulates our Muslim brothers and sisters in Islam as we celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
