9JA 61 INDEPENDENCE: The Story of a Rudderless Child

Nigeria celebrates 61st independent as a Nation but Nigerians are not happy.

Since Independence in October 1st, 1960, Nigeria has witnessed series of leadership ranging from Democratic system to Military dictatorships. The pathetic state of our nation and the grieve among individual Nigerians persist due to maladjusted state of our National affairs, Economy, Security and Worrisome state of our Infrastructures.

It is just a pity that, at this level of our National journey we couldn't figure a better way of life ourselves. Nigerians are wallowing in abject poverty like a rudderless child and the country remain one of the poorest country in world; A country blessed with abundant natural resources and balanced weather conditions.

The great concerns is where is the way forward.

Where did we even get it wrong?

Our problem in this part of the world is total lack of empathy and love, and this has grew beyond imagination in both our private and public utterances.

Nigeria is a country destiny for greatness, but lack of love and unity has placed one of the highest barrier on the line of our National success, happiness and prosperity.

Millions of young Nigerians have been trafficked to neighbouring countries in search of job and prosperity but they eventually met the opposite along the way where many have lost their lives and some have ended up being enslaved and destroyed.

The available resources in Nigeria is sufficient and enough for our numbers. But we are in a juggle rule by Mammoth Hypocrites who believes in devil and act in accordance with devil.

In Nigeria of ours, there's high level of tensions, insecurity, fear et cetera engineered by the methodology of avaricious and greedy leaders who do anything to take up the mantle of leadership on the detriment of the populace.

What are the way forward?

Reorientation of our young generation on the basis of love, hardworking, honesty, and Patriotism.

Arguably, both present and the past leaders have been working over the years on restructuring Nigeria, but we couldn't find any accurate answers as well as solutions to the problems from the series of policies and legislations implemented by the past Government.

The future of this country is in the hands of like-minded young Nigerians committed to Love, Peace, Unity, and National progress irrespective of political affiliations, family background, religious background, Education, colour, and beliefs.

We need to eschew all form of obfuscation that is threatening our national unity, peace and progress and allow love to flourish in our daily life and activities.

We cannot shy away from the fact that, Youths are responsible for many vices in this country. There's need for the young Nigerians to put on their "thinking caps" and move away from being use as a political thuggery and other sort of vices that's destroying their lives.

It's Youth O'clock all across the world; there's needs for us to be our brothers keeper.

We must love ourselves and disallow any propaganda that cause division and tier us apart from the self-centered leaders who are striving day and night for their political aggrandizement.

Leaning is a continuous process, we mustn't stop learning.

Because the future of the world belongs to the Educated races.

Happy Independence Nigerians!
