THESE ARE USEFUL SOCIAL SKILLS THAT CAN BE PICKED UP QUICKLY?


Talk less about yourself and let the other person talk more about themselves.

After asking the question ‘’How are you doing’’, follow up their response by giving a compliment.

If you are meeting them for the first time, politely introduce yourself and ask for their name too. Learn to memorize peoples name by saying their name a lot, ask questions using their name and end the conversation with their name.

Try to be humorous because people want to be entertained.

Don’t listen just to reply, listen to the other person attentively.

Give at least 70% eye contact. It’s a sign that you value the conversation, too.

Become a learner by asking questions with genuine interest, everybody wants to boost their ego by teaching what they know.

Don’t play on your smartphone when around other people, give them a moment and make them feel important.

Keep to appointments and don’t be that person who always cancels plans at the last minute. Nobody wants to hang around an unreliable person.

Smell nice, dress clean, be yourself, be valuable and also be kind.

No matter the weight of your pains don't  cry on the shoulder of a parrot.
