SEN. SADIQ: A REFORMER AND THE BRIDGE BUILDER OF ALL TIME

Acquisition of knowledge is not a crime, and that's why Prophet Muhammad (SAW) says "Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise". And Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is known for one popular quote: “Seek knowledge from the Cradle to the Grave”.

We can not shy away from the fact that many issues are yet to be rectified and corrected in the Kwara North Senatorial District in terms of power-sharing, allocation of resources, and empowerment opportunities for its people. Based on this, there are serious lopsided arrangements and cheating encroachment which I believe that, hands are already on decks to look into the matter objectively and proffer solutions.

While we are craving for a workable future, in which all the aforementioned pressing issues and challenges will be addressed without any element of misunderstanding again in Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Umar Sadiq deserves an accolade for the work done so far.

Arguably, there's a lot of heat from this same Senatorial District since his emergence in the 2019 poles, most especially from Moro Local Government Area where party elders fight each other like cats and find it so hard to give reasons for the same fight. But this humble man of a kind disposition, intelligent and patriotic, always left a reputation of unblemished honesty and uprightness. He remains focused only on his primary assignment to develop Kwara North to the best of his ability.

What else will you expect of a leader beyond this pass mark, rather than the assassination of good characters and reputation by the saboteurs? We are not meant to be like that as man.

However, the reason for education according to National Policy on Education, 2013 says: "The philosophy of Nigeria's education is based on the development of the individual into a responsible and sound citizen" and et cetera. What is seen in people with education this day calls for queries and what the education is predicted to solve.

Furthermore, as part of its effect is the ability of citizens to see good in everything and embraced what is right without hesitation and resentment. But the reverse is the case, the so called elite are just educated illiterate by formalizing their ignorance with what I called "Callous Belief System" on the detriment of the populace.

I'm very sured that the Distinguished Senator Umar Suleiman Sadiq will run for the same post again, and coming back to continue his good work and the blueprint for a greater Kwara North with more better development, improvements and accountability. And I am pleased with it without any form of reproach.

Thank God that the Senator is able to perform beyond expectations, the reverse will have be the case if the Distinguished didn't outshine the standard already set for him by those caliber of individuals. The wailer will have think and react otherwise with his performance all across Kwara North Senatorial District.

It is no more a news that, the Distinguished Senator has distinguished himself from many incompetent leaders through his leadership prowess, humblness and equitable representation all across Kwara North irrespectives of religious beliefs and practices, political affiliations, and backgrounds.

But it so sad that, many unscrupulous elements are on the race to do evil and badmouth this humble man. I think we need to continue to do justice to this by educating and orientate ourselves and the general public on the basis of love, unity and progress as the only clear road in which dividends of democracy can reach every citizen irrespective of our affiliations.

Distinguished Senator Umar Suleiman Sadiq, the most deserving man for the job come 2023.
